This small exhibition explores the vibrancy of British theatre in the years following the end of the Second World War. Drawing on the British Library's unparalleled collection of theatrical manuscripts, letters, photographs, and sound recordings, the exhibition demonstrates how this golden period of British theatre was so much more than just the plays of the Angry Young Men important though they were.
