How to book
All workshops and activities are free of charge but must be booked in advance. Cancellations must be made with at least two weeks notice or a cancellation fee of £80 will be charged.
You will need to know the following information before booking a visit:
- A selection of dates
- Expected arrival/departure time
- Number of participants (all workshops require a minimum of 10 participants)
- Age of participants
- Any special requirements or needs
- Whether the lunch room is required

Supervision
We have a 1:6 adult:student ratio for participants aged 11 and under, and a 1:10 adult:student ratio for participants aged 12-18.
Preliminary visit
We recommend a preliminary visit, to help you plan your day and familiarise yourself with the exhibitions and galleries. If you would like to meet a member of the Learning team during your preliminary visit, please contact us.
Resources
Creative guides to certain exhibitions, clipboards, pencils, paper are all available on request.
Facilities
The Lunch Room is available if booked in advance. All group members are advised to bring packed lunches. Alternatively, your group may picnic outside on the Piazza.
We have storage trolleys for your coats and bags.
The nearest toilets are on the Lower Ground Floor near the storage trolley area.
We invite you and your group to visit The Bookshop on the Ground Floor. Visitors to the shop should be in groups of no more then 10.

Coach parties
Owing to restrictions on St Pancras car parking there is currently no parking for coaches or minibuses on site at St Pancras.
Coaches/minibuses are asked to drop off and pick up visitors at Gate 5 on Midland Road and seek on street parking.
Parking
There is no car parking for the public on site.
There are car parks in Marchmont Street under the Brunswick Shopping Centre and on Judd Street (NCP).
Metered parking is available on Ossulston Street (6 spaces).
Visitors travelling by car are advised that a number of roads surrounding the Library are closed (diversions are in place) owing to the Channel Tunnel Rail Link works (completion date: 2007). Midland Road is currently a 'no through' road.
Bicycles
There is a covered area in the Piazza.
All roads around the Library site are extremely busy. Please allow extra time and take special care when crossing Euston Road and Midland Road.
