In 2009 we start a major programme of collection moves, the largest
undertaken since the opening of our St Pancras building in 1998.
We are constructing a new storage building at our Boston Spa site
– to be completed in December. This will be one of the largest
and most advanced library repositories in the world, providing perfect
environmental conditions.
In addition, we need to vacate leasehold storage buildings as leases
expire.
We want to let you know about this programme in advance, and will
issue regular news bulletins to keep you informed.
